  • where

our retreat location is still in the works, so be sure to check back soon!

  • when

we will be heading to the retreat in february. we picked winter for a few reasons, one of the biggest being that winter is a time to reflect, slow down, and be present.

  • why

coming home from the hospital without jude was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done in a very obvious way, as was attempting to live our lives to show up for our daughter, to return to work, to “live our lives” as if everything hadn’t changed. somewhere along the way, we realized we weren’t giving ourselves the time or space to truly grieve.

jeni grew up attending retreats and later became a counselor at one, and she’s always appreciated how retreat spaces create dedicated room for rest, reflection, and healing. that’s what we’re hoping to offer here: a gentle, supportive place for parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss to step away from the weight of everyday life and reconnect—with themselves and with others who understand.

the weekend will include both small and large group sessions, led by a mix of licensed professionals and fellow parents who have walked this road. we’ll also build in time for movement, nature, and quiet moments, because healing doesn’t only happen through words.

this isn’t a place to “fix” anything. it’s a place to be human, together.
